Motorcycle Crash Kills A Man In Manassas: Police
A Gainesville man died on Thursday evening after his motorcycle crashed into a car on Prince William Parkway, according to police.

MANASSAS, VA — One man died in a fatal motorcycle crash in Manassas on Thursday evening. The victim, Kinlaw David Stephens III of Gainesville, died after crashing into a car on Prince William Parkway, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
Police were notified of the crash around 6 p.m. on Thursday. Investigators determined that Stephens was driving his 2020 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle eastbound on Prince William Parkway, according to a release from the police department.
As he approached the area near Hynson Drive, Stephens lost control of his motorcycle, police said. He and the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, into the median strip.

Stephens traveled through the grassy median and collided with a 2016 Jeep Liberty that was westbound on Prince William Parkway, authorities said. He was thrown from his motorcycle, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
In a news release posted on Friday morning, authorities said Stephens was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Members of the Prince William County Police Department did not disclose any other possible factors that could have caused the crash.

The other driver involved in the crash, a 37-year-old man from Manassas, suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
