MS-13 Gang Members Arrested In Manassas: Police

Two MS-13 gang members were arrested last week for accosting a 17-year-old boy riding a bike last May in Manassas: PWC Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Two MS-13 gang members were arrested last week for accosting a 17-year-old boy riding a bike last May in the area of Rixlew Lane and Sudley Road in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police. A third suspect who took part in the incident remains at large, and he also is said to a member of the criminal street gang Mara Salvatrucha.

Kevin Oswaldo Duran Reyes, 18, of the 7500 block of Gales Court in Manassas, was charged with abduction, brandishing a firearm, assault and battery and two counts of gang participation. An 18-year-old man was charged as a juvenile with abduction, assault and battery and two counts of gang participation. A 15-year-old boy is wanted for abduction, assault and battery and two counts of gang participation.

On May 7, the victim was riding his bike in the aforementioned area when he was approached by a vehicle occupied by several acquaintances. They got out, surrounded him, and one of them flashed a gun and threatened the teen. They prevented him from going anywhere before finally leaving in the vehicle. There were no injuries and nothing was taken.

Soon thereafter, an investigation by the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force ultimately led to the arrests. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
