Update: Pedestrian Killed In Manassas Car Crash Identified

Authorities have identified the pedestrian who died after he was hit by a car on Sudley Road in Manassas on Saturday night.

MANASSAS, VA — Police have identified the pedestrian who died after they were struck by a car on Sudley Road in Manassas on Saturday night. Raul Sontay Vicente, a 41-year-old man from Manassas, died at the scene on Sudley Road, the Prince William County Police Department announced on Monday.

A 51-year-old Manassas man was driving a 2006 Toyota Highlander south on Sudley Road between Donegan Drive and Sudley Manor Drive when he struck Vicente, who was walking in the street, according to police. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were involved in the accident, and speed wasn't a factor either, police said. No charges have been announced in connection with the crash.
