Pediatric Walk-in Clinic Serves Georgetown South Community
Center serves area residents who may have a difficult time making appointments due to a lack of transportation.

Community Care Pediatrics, LLC is a new walk-in clinic that has opened inside the Georgetown South Community Center.
The clinic, located at 9444 Taney Road, Ste. #103, will serve children between the ages of newborn to 18 years old, who are self pay or Virginia Medicaid patients, including Virginia Anthem Health Keepers Plus and Amerigroup.
Clinic hours are two days a week only, Mondays and Thursdays, from 10 am to 6 pm.

The goal of the clinic is to focus on the underserved children in the community. The hope is to expand the clinic's hours to five days a week and some Saturdays.
Community Care Pediatrics is a separate entity owned by Dr. Anastasia Williams, owner and pediatrician at Olde Towne Pediatrics in Manassas. While Dr. Williams will not be seeing patients in the Georgetown South clinic, they will be seen by Nurse Practitioner Jennifer Schmidt, CFNP.
"We opened the clinic to serve residents of the Georgetown South Community
and the surrounding area who were having difficulties making it to pediatric appointments due to a lack of transportation," Schmidt said. "Being in the
community center here puts us in the heart of a very walkable community."
The clinic has been open for six weeks. City of Manassas Mayor Harry J.
"Hal" Parrish stopped in to visit with clinic employees during the Activities Bus Celebration at the center on Jan. 16.
This is a walk-in clinic, so no appointments are necessary. Parents or guardians need only come in and add the patient's name to the daily sign-in sheet. No telephone appointments will be made.
