Photos: Summer Campers Motivate Community

Mayor Harry J. Parish II recognized 50 participants from the Summer Youth Camp held at Osbourn High School this year at the council meeting on Monday, Aug. 13. for taking an active role in the community.

The group of high school sophomores created motivational signage on the Winters Branch Trail at Jennie Dean Park (See photos). The signs are designed to keep the community walking towards their health goals in the, the City of Manassas said in a press release.

“Throughout this experience, these students learned the value of promoting a healthy lifestyle for the community and the value of donating time to community projects,” said Mayor Harry Parrish ll.
