Plane Runs Off Runway at Manassas Regional Airport
Pilot was the only one on board a plane when it rain off the side of the runway. The runway was closed for several hours.

MANASSAS, VA — A plane ran off the side of the runway at Manassas Regional Airport on Thursday.
The pilot was the only person on board and was not injured, according to Patty Prince, a Manassas City spokesperson.
The 6-seater Piper Malibu Aircraft was attempting to land at 5:32 p.m. when it ran off the side of the runway.

Fire and Rescue crews from Manassas and Prince William County responded to the scene.
The runway reopened by 9:45 p.m., according to Prince.
