Point of Woods President Endorses Lovejoy for Council
President of the Point of Woods Homeowners Association Board of Directors, Nikki Ebert writes Patch to endorse challenger Ian Lovejoy for Manassas City Council.

Dear Patch,
I am writing to endorse Ian Lovejoy for Manassas City Council and to offer my firsthand knowledge of his contribution to our community.
Out of concern for our community and desire to improve it, Ian joined the Point of Woods 1 & 2 Home Owner's Association (HOA) as a director at large shortly after moving into the neighborhood. He hit the ground running, and along with the rest of our board, pushed for projects within Point of Woods aimed at creating a safer, more livable, and tight knit community.

Ian was soon elected to the position of vice president of our HOA which has over 350 homes. He has volunteered to do community walk-throughs in his spare time and to be point person for logistics with the city during a recent community cleanup project.
Thanks to the efforts of Ian and our board, Point of Woods has seen major improvements in safety and community involvement. As a result, Point of Woods 1 & 2 has won four "Neighborhood of the Year" awards in the last three years at the Manassas City Neighborhood Conference.

Awards for outstanding community partnership with Point of Woods 3 include: best group effort, second place for best communication and involvement, and best neighborhood participation in 2011.
Ian has always displayed clear, practical thinking, willingness to serve, and a deep desire to improve Manassas—qualities that are central to being a city councilman.
I know Ian would bring the same level of dedication and energy to the city council and city at large.
Manassas City would be very lucky to have him.
Sincerely,
Nikki Ebert
President Point of Woods 1 & 2
