Police: Area Man Sought in Connection to Alleged Contract Killing

Two other men, including one from Manassas, have already been arrested in the case, according to media reports.

A Prince William County man is wanted in connection to the death of a car dealer in Chesterfield County that has been described by law enforcement as a contract killing, according to The Richmond Times-Dispatch.

The owner of Three Amigos Auto Sales in Chesterfield, Abel Elmadany, 60, was found strangled and suffocated at the business on Jan. 24, according to NBC 12.

Arshad Mahmood, 56, is wanted on the charge of conspiracy to commit murder for hire. Mahmood is described as 5 feet, 6 inches, tall, weighing 148 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.

Chesterfield County Police said in a release that Mahmood should be considered armed and dangerous. “As with any fugitive from justice, police ask anyone who sights Mahmood not to approach him, but to contact local law enforcement immediately,” according to the release.

Melvin Leonel Sandoval Vasquez, 24, of Washington was arrested Feb. 12 and charged with first-degree murder conspiracy. Narciso De Jesus Lemus Mendoza, 25, of Manassas, was charged Feb. 27 with conspiracy to commit a murder for hire.
