Police: Body Discovered on School Grounds is Murder Suspect
Man was sought in the shooting death of a woman Sunday in a domestic dispute, according to Prince William County Police.

A body found Monday on the grounds at T. Clay Wood Elementary School has been identified as Edward Everett Hale Jr., a man wanted in the shooting death of a Bristow women early Sunday morning.
Hale, 35, of Glen Burnie, Md., appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Prince William County Police.
Officers found Jessica Leigh Wilson, 31, Sunday morning. She had been shot in her Bristow home and was transported to an area hospital where she died.

Investigators had released a photo and details about Hale’s vehicle in hopes of locating him. On Monday morning, Hale’s car was found in the parking lot at Wood Elementary. Students were rerouted to another campus as police searched the area.
After 11 a.m., a helicopter spotted the body on the baseball field behind the school and later confirmed that it was Hale.
