Police: Bank Robber in Disguise Hits Bank of America

Local police are searching for a person who attempted to rob a Manassas bank on Monday.

The incident occurred at the Bank of America at 8501 Sudley Road, according to Prince William County police. The suspect entered the bank and implied she was carrying a knife, but no weapon was actually seen and there were no injuries reported.

Police did not disclose the amount of money taken in the robbery.

The suspect was last seen leaving on foot to the rear of the bank, according to police. An initial description given was a female Hispanic, but it’s unclear because of the disguise. The person was about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a pierced nose, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves and a yellow bandana.
