Police: Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery, Assault

Prince William County Police are seeking the subject in an armed robbery and assault Wednesday morning in the Manassas area.

The suspect entered Evergreen Services at 10526 Lomond Drive and displayed a weapon. He reportedly assaulted the clerk before fleeing on foot.

Police describe the suspect as a black male, 6’0”, 180lbs with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and black jeans with a bandana covering his face.

Sinclair and West Gate elementary schools and Stonewall Middle School are in precautionary secure the building status due the incident, according to Prince William County School District. All are safe but entry is restricted.

Secure the building status means that the school is secured from outside entry, according to a PWCSD statement. Outside activities are cancelled and students are brought inside.
