Police: Three Shot in Manassas Area, Suspect in Custody
Suspect fired at car using rifle, according to Prince William County Police.
A suspect is in custody after three people were shot with a rifle in a late-night incident Friday in the Manassas area, according to Prince William County Police. One victim is still in critical condition, according to a release.
Justin Hunter Platt, 25, of 10174 Portsmouth Rd, #11, Manassas, is charged with 3 counts of aggravated malicious wounding. He is being held without bond.
Police say a man, 32, of no fixed address, got in a physical altercation with Platt. As he was leaving with the three victims, Platt allegedly came outside with a rifle and began firing on the car, according to police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.

A 27 year old man of Warrenton suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and remains hospitalized in critical condition. The 49 year old Manassas woman was treated for a non-life threatening wound to her head and was released. The third victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile of Manassas, sustained a minor gunshot wound to his knee and was also treated and released.
Platt turned himself into police early Saturday morning without incident.
