Manassas Schools Make New Thursday Weather Call

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—All Prince William County public schools will be closed Thursday because of expected inclement weather conditions, and public schols in Manassas City and Manasas Park also will be closed after changing from what originally was a two-hour delay.

For Prince William County schools, it's Code Red for employees. All school division activities including Professional Development sessions are canceled. SACC will not open. Telework subject to policy.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for our area through 1 p.m. Thursday. That includes a wintry mix of rain, snow and sleet.
