Roaming Rooster Restaurant Now Open In Manassas

A new Roaming Rooster restaurant is now open in Manassas and offering sandwiches and wings from grain-fed and free-range chickens.

Last week, Roaming Rooster opened a new restaurant location on Sudley Road in Manassas. It's the company's 10th restaurant. Originally, the chain began with a fleet of food trucks before opening brick and mortar locations.

MANASSAS, VA — A new chicken sandwich spot is now open in Manassas. Roaming Rooster celebrated its grand opening on Sudley Road last week.

The facility is located at 9221 Sudley Road, which used to host a Five Guys restaurant. The facility officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday.

Roaming Rooster's menu includes chicken sandwiches, wings, milkshakes, and sides.

Biniyam Habtemariam is the owner of Roaming Rooster. “We’re very excited to open our new restaurant in Manassas," Habtermariam said in a news release. "The city has such a great food scene and a lot of growth going on. With our various chicken sandwiches, milkshakes, and more, Roaming Rooster is ready to serve up all sorts of deliciousness in Manassas."

Roaming Rooster began as a food truck in Washington, D.C. in 2015. The owners pride themselves on serving free-range, grain-fed, antibiotic-free chicken. "Our mission is to provide quality comfort food that our customers can feel good about eating," the company says on its website. "Our biggest motivator is making people happy."

Roaming Rooster operates 10 restaurants in the D.C. region, including facilities in Chantilly, Burke, and Vienna.
