MANASSAS, VA — A man was shot outside a Marriott hotel in Manassas on Wednesday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department. Authorities believe that the shooting was not random.
The victim, who police identified as a 34-year-old man, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body. His injuries were not life-threatening, but rescue personnel took him to a hospital for treatment.
The police department has not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting. Authorities have also not publicly identified any suspects.

The shooting occurred around 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning at the Courtyard Marriott on Battleview Parkway. Investigators said the victim was in the hotel parking lot with a friend when someone fired shots, striking the victim. The friend left the area before police officers arrived, according to the police report.
Officers found cartridge casings in the area, but there were no other injuries and no property damage, the police department said.
