Spirit Halloween Opening Manassas Location, Others In Northern Virginia

MANASSAS, VA — Though Halloween is still more than two months away, kids and adults alike are starting to think about what they'll be dressing up as this year. Spirit Halloween, the seasonal retailer for Halloween costumes, has started opening many of its more than 1,500 stores across the country.

Spirit Halloween specializes in Halloween decorations, costumes, props and accessories. It is the largest Halloween retailer in the United States, with over 1,500 locations around North America. The Halloween holiday falls on Thursday, Oct. 31, this year.

In addition to classic costumes, the stores will offer new licensed merchandise from Inside Out 2, Beetle Juice, Decendents, Haunted Mansion, Corpse Bride, Barbie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bluey and more.

The retailer typically short-term leases in vacant spaces. In Manassas, Spirit Halloween will open in the former Party Depot store at 10336 Portsmouth Rd.

Some Spirit Halloween stores opened starting in early August. But the majority of these stores will not open until the end of August or in September. Shoppers can stay up to date on the opening by checking Spirit Halloween's website.
