St. Patrick's Day Parade To March Through Old Town

Event will feature U.S. Marine Corps color guard, marching bands and dignitaries.

Put on your green and join the fun! The 16th annual Greater Manassas St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The parade will start at the intersection of Quarry Road and Prescott Avenue, move south to Center Street, and then west on Center Street through Old Town, ending at the intersection with West Street. It’s scheduled to end at 12:15 p.m.

A color guard from the Quantico Marine Corps base will lead the parade, which will include a variety of marching bands and performance groups. Dignitaries in the parade will include Manassas Mayor Harry Parrish II and U.S. Rep. Barbara Comstock, as well as Corey Stewart, chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.

Parking is available at the municipal parking lots on Prince William Street (near the train station), across from the train station (near Osbourn High School), at City Hall and on Church Street. The city lot between Center Street and Church Street, along with the Harris Pavilion, will be closed during the parade.
