Stabbed Assailant Arrested In Manassas: Police
A man hospitalized after being stabbed by one of two people he assaulted at a Manassas residence was arrested Thursday: PWC Police

MANASSAS, VA — A man hospitalized after being stabbed by one of two people he assaulted Aug. 30 at a residence in the 8000 block of Portwood Turn was arrested Thursday, according to Prince William County Police. Jamal Issac Roane, 38, of the 3700 block of Cantania Place in Woodbridge, was charged with malicious wounding. He's being held without bond.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Aug. 30, police responded to the aforementioned address for a report of a fight with a weapon. The victim, a 38-year-old Woodbridge woman, said she and the suspect were involved in a heated argument that turned violent. At one point, he hit the woman in the head so hard it caused a severe cut. Then he assaulted a male acquaintance of the victim. But the male acquaintance fought back. During the struggle, the suspect was stabbed in the lower body. They separated, police were called and the suspect was flown to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
