MANASSAS, VA — A 19-year-old man was shot in Manassas on Saturday morning, according to the Prince William County Police Department. However, authorities said the victim has not cooperated with investigators.

The victim's gunshot wound was not life-threatening, the police department said. No other injuries were reported.

Investigators have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting. Authorities have not provided any possible suspect description.

At 1:45 a.m. on Saturday, police officers went to the 10700 block of Battleview Parkway to investigate reports of a shooting. In a local business, the officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body.

Authorities noted that the man entered the business with two other people after he was shot. An ambulance took the victim to an area hospital for treatment.

In its report, the police department noted that the victim and the other men did not cooperate with investigators. A police K-9 searched for more evidence of a shooting, but they did not find any bullets or cartridge casings.
