'The Things I Love' to Participate in Old Town Sidewalk Sale

Dear Friends,  

I hope you are all well.  I guess you are wondering if the will ever .  There have been many times when I have wondered that myself. 

I have received so many wonderful words of encouragement and offers to help from so many of you.  It sure has helped me get through this especially difficult process.    It's been a real uphill battle with so many delays - the most recent being the flooding of my basement and my warehouse last week. 

We have not recovered from that yet and it has taken so much of our time away from the project here at the shop.  I have recently hired someone to help with the shop renovation and it sure is helping to get us closer to opening. We sometimes think we can do it all ourselves, but finally realize we just can't.  

Although the interior of the shop will not be open, I am planning to participate in the Sidewalk Sale being held throughout Old Town this Saturday, September 17th.  It will be held from 10am until 5pm. 

I plan to fill the sidewalk in front of the shop with merchandise and it will all be 50% off the marked price.  I hope you will try to get into Old Town this weekend and take advantage of some of the bargains.  

In addition to the Sidewalk Sale, there is an Antique Auto Show, an Old World Festival, a Brews, Bands and Barbecue event and the Farmers' Market.  What a fun way to spend a Saturday and the weather is supposed to be beautiful!  

I have missed you all so much and I have missed opening The Things I Love each morning.  It shouldn't be long now.  I hope to see some of you on Saturday.
