Thieves Cut Hole in Roof of Manassas Pawn Shop in Jewelry Heist: Police
Prince William County Police say unknown thieves cut holes in the backs of two safes, stealing a large amount of jewelry.

MANASSAS, VA — Thieves broke into a pawn shop Sunday by cutting a hole in the roof and then cutting holes in the backs of two safes, stealing a large amount of jewelry, according to Prince William County Police.
Shortly before 9 a.m., police responded to a burglary report at Global Food in the 10300 block of Festival Lane in Manassas. The owner told police the caper happened sometime between midnight and 8: 30 a.m.
Once inside Global Food, police say, the thieves broke into an office rented by Vision Jewelry and Pawn.

The son of the pawn shop owner told WJLA.com he believes more than $100,000 worth of jewelry was stolen.
