Traffic Alert: Road Closure Daily Downtown Beginning Monday
City of Manassas will be working on sewer system upgrades and installing new manholes.
Traffic on Main Street will be diverted for several days beginning Aug. 24, according to the City of Manassas.
Beginning Monday, Main Street will be closed from Quarry Road to Mathis Avenue from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Crews will be installing an upgraded sanitary sewer system and new manholes.

Property owners will be able to access their homes in the area, but all other through traffic will be detoured.
