Traffic Alerts: Construction Projects and Events Will Shift Your Routes
City of Manassas warns residents of ongoing roadwork and large events that will impact downtown traffic.

The City of Manassas is warning residents of traffic rerouting and delays for upcoming road construction projects and events:
Upper Flat Branch Interceptor Project - The contractors have completed the sanitary main replacement on Main St. Stage three of the project is switching back to complete the storm sewer pipe and structures at Battle St. and Portner Ave.
From 10/14/2015 to January, Portner Ave from Main St to West St and Battle St. from Quarry Rd. to Portner Ave. and Battle St. from Ewell St. to Portner Ave. will be closed to thru traffic. This Closure will be performed daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. until all storm and restoration work can be completed.
Milling and Paving Schedule: The following milling and paving schedule is subject to change according to Mother Nature: City Hall and the DMV Oct. 9/10. Police Department lot Oct. 19/20 and Oct. 21/22.
Oct. 17, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Annual Alzheimer’s Walk: Please watch for walkers on Sunday around the historic downtown. Affected streets are West St., Peabody St., Park St., and Nelson Park.
October 24, 2015 - Fall Jubilee: The following roads will be closed for the Fall Jubilee: West Street from Church to Prince William St., Battle street from Church to Prince William, Main Street from Church to Prince William, Center Street from Grant Ave. to Prince William St, and Prince William Street from the parking garage to Grant Ave.
November 11, 2015, GFWC Women’s Club Wreath Laying - In honor of Veteran’s Day, the women’s club will be laying a wreath at the Manassas War Memorial on Main Street. The corner of Prince William and Main will be one lane only during the ceremony from 10 a.m. to noon.
