Turkey Trot Raises $7,000 for Officer Chris Yung's Widow
Proceeds from the race were donated to the Chris Yung Memorial Fund which benefits Yung's widow and three children.

Along with getting rid of those pre-Thanksgiving calories, the Chris Yung Memorial Turkey Trot in Manassas raised thousands of dollars for officer Yung’s family.
Chris Yung passed away in the line of duty while responding to an emergency call on New Year’s Eve in 2012. Yung was driving through a green light on Nokesville Road with his lights and sirens on when a woman made a left turn and crashed into his motorcycle. He died later at a local hospital.
A memorial fund was set up later to benefit Officer Yung’s widow, Robin Yung, and their three young children.
