Two Guests at Local Motel Robbed
Prince William County police: Suspect in heist is at large.

Two women from California were robbed early Thursday at a Manassas motel, and Prince William Couny police are looking for the suspect.
Police responded at 1:49 a.m. to the Red Roof Inn at 10610 Automotive Drive, near Sudley Road (Route 234) and Interstate 66, to investigate the robbery. The victims, a 21-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman – both from California - said they were staying in a room at the motel when an unknown man knocked on the door.

When the two victims answered, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect took one victim’s cell phone and money before fleeing the area, according to a police report. No injuries were reported.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, between 27 and 30 years of age, between 5 feet 11 inches and 6 feet tall, and weighing 210 pounds with a thin build, dark complexion, short black hair and a beard.

He was last seen wearing a black pea coat-style jacket with a white shirt underneath, black pants and black shoes.
