Two Hospitalized After Stabbing in Restaurant Parking Lot
Prince William County police arrest Manassas-area man; one victim's wound called 'life-threatening.'

A Manassas-area man is in jail after allegedly stabbing two men Saturday night in the parking lot of a steakhouse off Dumfries Road (Route 234) near Montclair.

One victim sustained a life-threatening wound, but both victims are expected to survive, according to the Prince William County police.
Wendell Abraham Howard (in photo above), 50, of 13210 Spriggs Road, is being held without bond in the Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center on two charges of malicious wounding, according to a police report. He is due in court on May 13.

Prince William police officers responded at 10:02 p.m. Saturday to the report of a stabbing at the All American Steakhouse at 5594 Ashland Community Square, the police report said.
An investigation revealed that a fight had broken out in the parking lot, and two victims were stabbed by a man identified as Howard, police said.
One victim, a 33-year-old Woodbridge man, sustained a significant, life-threatening stab wound to his lower body. This victim was unconscious when the first officers arrived at the scene, the police report said. Two officers began CPR on the victim while a third maintained pressure on the wound.
The second victim, a 43-year-old Woodbridge man, sustained a stab wound to his arm when he attempted to break up the fght, police said. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Howard remained at the scene and was detained without further incident, police said. Following the investigation, he was arrested.
