Video Of Manassas Bank Robber Released By Police

MANASSAS, VA — Police in Manassas are asking for the public's help identifying a bank robber who was caught on video last month. Authorities released footage of the suspect on Wednesday.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a baseball cap, black surgical mask, black hooded sweatshirt, green coat with hood, red sweatpants, and white shoes.

The Manassas City Police Department did not say if the man used a gun in the robbery, or whether he escaped with any cash.

The robbery occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Truist Bank in the 10000 block of Dumfries Road in Manassas. The suspect escaped the scene before police officers could apprehend him.
