Wanted Man Accused Of Holding Woman's Hand To Hot Stovetop In Manassas: Police
A man from Manassas is wanted by police after he was accused of grabbing a victim's hand and holding it to a hot stovetop in January.
MANASSAS, VA — A man from Manassas is wanted by police after authorities claimed he forced a woman's hand onto a hot stovetop during an argument last month. Police identified the man as 23-year-old Israel Alejandro.
The incident occurred on Jan. 23, and officers responded to the apartment in the 10100 block of Woodbury Drive in Manassas at 3 p.m. The officers were called to the home to investigate the reported domestic incident.
During their investigation, authorities determined that Alejandro was involved in an argument with the victim, a 20-year-old woman, on Jan. 23. The argument escalated. Police clamed that Alejandro then grabbed the victim's hand and held it to a hot burner on the stovetop.

Eventually, the two separated. Alejandro fled the home shortly after the argument, authorities said in their report. The victim reported that her hand was injured during the incident.
After their investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for Alejandro. However, they have been unable to locate him.

Alejandro is described as a white man who is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Alejandro is charged with one count of malicious wounding.
