Warming Centers Open In Prince William County On Tuesday

Three warming centers will be open in Prince William County on Tuesday afternoon as power companies work to restore power.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — A trio of warming centers are open in Prince William County on Tuesday. County officials announced the opening of the warming centers after a winter storm dumped several inches of snow on the area and disrupted power in the region.

The warming centers will be open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday. The cents each have heat, restrooms, power for charging phones, and public Wi-Fi.

As of 12 p.m. on Tuesday, 9,142 Prince William County residents were still without power. 6,74o customers with Dominion Energy and 2,40o customers with NOVEC were waiting for their power to return.
