Weather Advisory for Region Friday
Wind gusts up to 45 mph possible in afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.
A wind advisory will go into effect for the region beginning at noon Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, and ending at midnight.
The area included in the advisory includes D.C., Fairfax, Prince William, Alexandria, Arlington, Stafford, Loudoun, and more.
The National Weather Service expects winds at 15 mph to 25 mph. Wind gusts would reach up to 45 mph.

Impacts would include scattered tree and power line damage and difficulty driving for some vehicles. Residents are also encouraged to secure outdoor furniture to avoid damage.
