Woman Assaults Cop In Haymarket: Police
A woman assaulted a cop while being arrested early Monday in Haymarket, according to Prince William County Police.
HAYMARKET, VA—A woman assaulted a cop while being arrested early Monday in the 15000 block of Old Waterfall Road, according to Prince William County Police. Lorena Ann Fisher, 64, of the aforementioned address, was charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice and domestic assault and battery.
Shortly after 1 a.m., police went to the scene for a reported domestic dispute. A 73-year-old Haymarket man said he and Fisher, an acquaintance, were involved in an argument that escalated. That's when she hit him several times with a telephone.
They eventually separated and police were contacted. While Fisher was being arrested, she kicked on officer in the leg, prompting more charges.
