Be Sensual With Boudoir Photography

I had an interesting chat recently with a friend of mine about boudoir photography's rise in popularity in the U.S.

Digital photography has shutter bugs popping up left and right, and so portrait photographers are looking for ways to stand out and be noticed.

If you don't know what boudoir photos typically capture, then here's a clue: "Boudoir" is a historical term for a lady's private dressing room or bedroom.

The 2001 music video for the remake of the LaBelle classic, "Lady Marmalade" features singers Christina Aguilera, Pink, Mya and rappers Missy Elliott and Lil' Kim  is a noteable example of a boudoir gone wild. 

I am friends with several photographers who have made boudoir a staple in their product offerings. Yours truly has recently added boudoir and glamour photography into the AJM Photography product line.  Silk is AJM Photo's glamour line for photography. 

For my clients, this is a session like none they have ever had.  It allows my adult clients to play pretend.

You can live out a fantasy or, provide a present to love one that's unique and—in some cases—for their eyes only.
