Prometheus—a.k.a—'Not Sure What I Really Saw'

Prometheus a must not see film.

So, I went to see Ridley Scott's long anticipated "prequel" to his classic Sci Fi cult film, "Alien."

I was very disappointed in this artistic, cinematic, visually stunning and boring movie.  Yes, the hype machine got me.  As someone who has had a love-hate relationships with Scott's films, this one goes in the hate column.

If you are a true and I mean true fan of the Alien film's you will probably be disappointed by Prometheus.  I realized there was a chance the hype machine got me when I read an article in which Scott was trying to distance Prometheus from his 1979 film, "Alien."

He tried to remove the whole "prequel" angle.  Turns out Prometheus is going to follow a path different than that of the Alien franchise.  This new path will follow a character commonly referred to as the, "Space Jockey."

The Space Jockey was the large human- ooking character in a large chair in "Alien." The scene when the two miners went into the Alien ship.  If you haven't had a chance to see this film.  I beg you, wait for redbox.

If you only pay $1.20 for it, you can thank me later.
