The 3 D's You Don't Want When Selling Your Home

Manassas Park homeowners if you are selling your home, don't let the 3 "D's" turn off a prospective Home Buyer.

Everyone's definition of a clean / dirty house is different for everyone. What we can agree on is the "3 D'S" Dirty Carpets, Dirty Dishes, Dirty Bathrooms can be a Big Turn Off to a prospective home buyer.

Dirty Carpets - Buyers don't want to see homes where carpets have not been vacuumed recently or have massive stains. If the carpet is so dirty that it can't be cleaned, replace it!

Dirty Dishes - Buyers don't want to see kitchen's where the sink and counters are full of dirty dishes. Yuck! It could be a sign that there is a problem with the plumbing or dishwasher.

Dirty Bathrooms - Bathrooms that have scum on the shower doors, black grout and dirty toilets are a HUGE turn off. How sanitary do you think this room is?

No matter how the buyer lives or what their definition of clean, they Do Not want to buy someone Else's dirt. If you are selling your home and have the 3 D'd you just gave the buyer a reason to buy the house down the street.
