A local doctor accused off inappropriately kissing a patient in his care had his trial continued to Sept. 28 in Prince William County District Court.
Christopher Julian Leet, 64, appeared in district court Wednesday for one misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.
The alleged kiss took place in Leet’s Sudley Road office April 18, according to a search warrant on file in district records. The victim, identified as a 44-year-old Manassas woman, had a panic attack and Leet allegedly took her by the hand and had her sit in his lap.

He allegedly kissed the victim twice on the mouth.
“When the accused was interviewed, he admitted that he kissed the victim, two times on the mouth and that the victim did not initiate the kiss,” the warrant states. “He stated he did this because she was very upset and he believed that this would be consoling.”

Leet was arrested April 19 and remains out of prison.
