Pack up the family and come out to Central Community Library for various workshops held by the Science Museum of Virginia. Each student is limited to no more than 2 workshops and the evening program, and registration is required in person or over the phone beginning July 5.
The special program, The Scoop on Poop!, is open to students entering 1st through 8th grade. During this program students will learn about the human digestive track by simulating teeth, participating in a belching contest, and finding out how food travels from one end of the body to the other. There is a 100 person limit for this event. Free tickets are available for this program beginning July 5.
