Free Tree Seedlings for Speedy Green Patrons Today

First 100 customers will received a tree seedlings in honor of Earth Day. The car wash also is donating money to a local facility in honor of Autism Awareness Month.

Speedy Green Car Wash in Manassas Park will be handing out tree seedlings in honor of Earth Day today.

 The first 100 customers who would like a tree will receive one, according to a press release issued by the company.

 “There are lots of ways to help our environment and planting a tree is something you can do with your kids, while talking with them about how to give back to the Earth,” said Chip Ashton, owner of Speedy Green Car Wash.

 Speedy Green is well known in Northern Virginia for its environmental initiatives, such as recycling 100 percent of all car wash water and using only biodegradable chemicals—one of the handful of car washes nationwide that do so, according to the company.

 The car wash is also known for lending a helping hand to local charities and awareness campaigns.

 On April 28 and 29, 50 percent of the cost of a full-service car detailing will go to Matthew’s Center in Manassas in honor of National Autism Awareness Month.

 Matthew’s Center is a special facility for children with Autism.

 The offer is good for customers making appointments for those days only.

 Customers can make appointments by calling 703-257-0737. Appointments are available between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Callers should reference the Matthew’s Center.
