Yobo's is one of the newest eateries in the area. Even though it only opened a month ago, it's the type of place where the patrons and staff will get to know each other.
From the outside it looks like an old country house that someone brought back to life; and the inside is just the same. There's no front entrance, instead if you have to go through the side door. Once inside warm shades of yellow and red, pictures of orchids and soft lighting make the inside just as welcoming as your own living room. The staff is super friendly, greeting everyone that walks in with a bright cheery smile.
For me the start of any good deli sandwich starts with either Boar's Head or Thumann's cold cuts and cheeses and Yobo's carries nothing but Boar's Head. After seeing that on the menu, I knew I could order anything and it would probably be good. I decided to order one of the daily specials. Aside from a home-made meatball sub there was the steak and cheese. I opted for the latter. Instead of the regular steak and cheese, the deli clerk suggested a marinated steak and cheese, which I took her up on.
The beef was marinated in teriyaki sauce and served on a lightly toasted sub roll with sauteed zucchini, onions, and peppers and was topped off with thick slices of provolone. The sandwich was phenomenal. All of the flavors from the cheese, meat, and vegetables melded together and created something wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Aside from subs, Yobo's serves breakfast fare such as bagels, muffins, and buns, salads and a wide variety of icecream. If you like breakfast, then you're in luck here; they serve it all day.
Aside from the amazing food and friendly staff, one of the most impressive things to me was how clean the kitchen was. I came around lunch time and you would expect the kitchen to be slightly messy, but this one was spotless. I definitely will be coming back to Yobo's in the near future.

Yobo’s is a cute little deli on Centreville Road (Route 28) with insanely convenient hours. I first noticed Yobo’s driving home from work one day, and was curious to try it out. When I pulled in to the parking lot, I noticed a small patio with a table on it, and it reminded me of a little farm house.
Yobo’s has a variety of subs, shakes, smoothies, bubble tea, cookies, home made chocolates, and much more including a red bean sundae that is sure to be a hit this summer. For my order, I chose the bulgogi sub and the “Buddha bun” (ho bbang-fluffy white sweet bread with red beans). The sub was delicious; it had cheese, zucchini, mushrooms, and peppers. Being that I’m not a fan of most delis, I was delighted to actually enjoy what I ordered. The Buddha bun was freshly heated and was good as well.
Yobo’s opened their doors on January 3rd this year, and offers a variety of services including dine-in, take-out, delivery (3 miles-$15 min., 5 miles-$20 min, 7 miles-$30 min.), and catering.
The staff was extremely friendly, and I got to meet the owner while I was there. The atmosphere is delightful, a very quaint setting with several different sitting areas. The place was clean, and had an overall “friendly-feeling”. I’m sure I’ll be returning in the future.
