Weather Decision from Local Schools for Friday
Difficult weather conditions expected March 6 have schools acting early to protect students and staff.

With a major snowstorm hitting Northern Virginia on Thursday, the Prince William County Schools closed their doors, giving students the day off.
With local roads expected to be treacherous, the PWCPS made an announcement about classes for Friday, March 6, 2015:

“All Prince William County Public Schools closed due to inclement weather in certain areas. Code Red for employees. All school division activities including Professional Development sessions are cancelled. SACC will not open. Telework subject to policy.”
The Manassas City Public Schools also decided to close their doors on Friday, March 6:

“All Manassas City Public Schools will be closed due to inclement weather. Code Blue for employees. There will be no after school activities.”
And the Manassas Park City Schools posted this message Thursday on the school system’s website:
“Due to inclement weather, all Manassas Park City Schools will be CLOSED on Friday, March 6, 2015. Code Red for Employees.”
