MCLEAN, VA — Zing America Inc., a McLean company behind "America's first credit card built by conservatives for conservatives," has raised $13.7 million in investments, bringing in more than half-way to its goal of raising $20 million, according to the Washington Business Journal.

On April 4, Zing America Inc. started taking minimum investments of at least $25,000. As of April 16, 13 investors had contributed to the company, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Zing has not shared what it intends to do with the $20 million once they raise it, according to the WBJ.

Zing launched its Coign credit card in 2022, with the backing of MRV Banks, the $733 million-asset community bank based in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri.

Zing's leadership includes former Republican strategist Robert W. Collins as chief executive officer and Christian Bergmann as chief financial officer, according to WBJ's reporting.
