Best Restaurants For Lunch In McLean: Patch Readers

MCLEAN, VA — Patch recently published a survey asking its readers to share their recommendations for the best places in McLean to take a visitor to for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Sixteen McLean foodies shared their favorite restaurants and recommendations for what to order. The response to our survey was so great that we've decided to split the results into several stories.

We've already published readers' favorite places to go for breakfast and now we're going to look at what lunch spots they recommend.

While survey respondents mentioned 11 different restaurants to go for lunch in McLean, many were praised for their service, the scope of their menus and their signature dishes.

Here's what other McLean foodies gave as their reasons for recommending their favorite place to eat lunch.

Moby Dick ...

• Although J-in McLean chose Moby Dick for its delicious kebabs, crispy rice (tahdig), and the "best hummus in town," he also praised the McLean Family Restaurant for its classic diner food in a neighborhood setting.

The Italian Oven ...

• Scott liked the Italian Oven. "Good service, reasonable prices, excellent food — Spaghetti with Meatball," he said.

• Kazan’s a family-owned restaurant was Linda Cevasco's pick for best place to grab lunch in McLean.

• "McLean Family Restaurant is perfect for a family Brunch and is popular among locals," said Helena M. "They serve perfect diner style food. Recommend the Omelets and the Hot Roast Beef plate."

Pasa Thai ...

• Jon Monett offered Pasa Thai as his choice for lunch, saying it had "the best Thai food in the area, friendly and service-oriented staff."

Patsy's American ...

• "I’d go to Patsy’s and order the roast chicken salad. Great place for relaxing venue and large selection," said Debbie.

Rocco's Italian Restaurant ...

• M. Hanson praised Rocco's for its pizza, overall menu and friendliness. He recommended ordering "The 'Pope's Blessing' pizza, a salad and a pitcher of Stella beer."

Sweet Leaf ...

• Joann Evans liked Sweet Leaf for its reasonable prices, sizable portions and Cobb salad.
