Buffalo-Style Pizzeria Baddpizza Opens In McLean
Buffalo-style pizza and wings are the specialty at baddpizza, which now has three locations.
MCLEAN, VA — Badpizza, a takeout restaurant specializing in Buffalo-style pizza and wings announced Tuesday it has opened its McLean location. It is open daily from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 6263 Old Dominion Drive.
Baddpizza is a collaborate effort between owners Joel Salamone and Steven Houck, who both have ties to the Buffalo, New York restaurant scene. Houck, whose nickname "Stevie Badd" inspired the restaurant name, has worked in the Buffalo pizza and wings restaurant business for over 25 years. Salamone, a Buffalo native, moved to the DC area in 1999 and was motivated to start baddpizza in light of lacking Buffalo pizza and wings options.
Founded in 2018, baddpizza opened the first location at 25150 Loudoun County Parkway in South Riding. A second location at 346 West Broad Street in Falls Church opened earlier this year.
