Celebree School Celebrates Tysons Opening With Fall Festival
Celebree School opened this fall and will welcome families at a grand opening fall festival this weekend.

TYSONS, VA — Celebree School, a preschool and infant and toddler care center, is celebrating its grand opening in Tysons with a fall festival on Saturday, Oct. 16.
The preschool and child care center announced its opening in September at Valo Park, 7950 Jones Branch Drive, McLean. Celebree School offers programs for 6-week-old infants to 6-year-old preschoolers with a holistic approach to help children develop both their learning and character. The school network was founded on the belief that childhood development relies on not only curriculum but connection to address the needs of each child and family.
Celebree School dates back to 1994 when founder Richard Huffman opened his first early learning center in Ellicott City, Maryland. After starting franchising in 2019, it now has 26 corporate schools and 44 franchise schools and a goal of opening 100 schools by 2025. This is the first location in Northern Virginia with locations also planned to open in Reston and Ashburn.

The Tysons franchise owners are Kate and Brian Mulcahy, who bring their passion for early childhood education to offer Celebree School's Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)-based curriculum to Tysons.
"From day one, my husband and I envisioned bringing a distinctive learning environment to local children and families in Tysons," said Kate Mulcahy in a statement. "After months of preparation and hard work, I’m thrilled to see this dream come true as we welcome new families through our doors and offer high-quality childcare to the community.”
