Comstock Says Her Personnel Information 'Hacked' in OPM Cyberattack
Congresswoman Comstock is the first member of Congress to publicly announce that her personnel files were 'cyberhacked,' says Politico.

When Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-10th) sent a letter yesterday to OPM Director Katherine Archuleta on the recent hack of federal employees, she was also stating publicly that her own personnel information was “hacked.”
In her letter, she stated: “I and many of my constituents have already been sent letters alerting us to this breach of our personal information that has been ’compromised.’”
Politico noted that Comstock was the first member of Congress to publicly come forward to say that their personnel files were among the millions that have reportedly come under cyberattack.
