Dozens of Children on Wait Lists for Easter Egg Hunts at Frying Pan Park
Six Easter egg hunts at popular park are all sold out for Saturday, March 21.
A very popular Easter egg hunt, held at Fairfax County’s Frying Pan Park, is sold out according to registration records online.
In all, the county is holding six Easter egg hunts at the farm this Saturday, March 21. Each hunt can handle 70 children. Dozens of children are on wait lists for the hunts, at 2709 W. Ox Road.
The egg hunts are each 45 minutes long and feature eggs filled with treats and prizes; the hunts are scheduled hourly from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and cost $6 for county residents and $8 for non-county residents.

Although there is a chance for a “wintry mix” on Friday, Saturday is expected to be sunny with a high of 56 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
A rain date for the Easter egg hunt is scheduled for Sunday, March 22.

Alternative Easter egg hunts include:
- There is an Easter egg hunt for children ages 2-8 years old, scheduled at Centreville’s Bull Run Regional Park for Tuesday, March 31 from 10-11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10-$12 each.
