A community-wide prescription medicine safe disposal activity that is part of an effort to prevent misuse or abuse of medications and to protect the environment. Drop off unused or expired medications at the McLean Community Center before going to McLean Day on May 21st. In partnership with the McLean Community Center, the McLean District Police Station, The Medicine Chest Pharmacy, the Fairfax County Solid Waste Program, the Fairfax County Office of Public Private Partnerships, and the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board; the Safe Community Coalition is working to maintain a safe community for everyone.
