Fairfax Chamber to Host 'Building the New Virginia Economy' with Keynote by Gov. McAuliffe

Event takes place Tuesday, May 12 in McLean.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe and a panel of federal officials and industry experts will be touting economic growth at a Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce event coming next month to McLean.

Building the New Virginia Economy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Northern Virginia, is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12 from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Capital One Bank Headquarters in McLean. Capital One is located at 1680 Capital One Dr.

McAuliffe will discuss his plans to develop the new Virginia economy and review actions his administration is taking to promote business and entrepreneurial growth in the Commonwealth.

The Governor’s keynote will be followed by a panel of federal officials and industry experts. Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-11th) and Congresswoman Barbara Comstock (R-10th) will discuss federal actions being taken to promote the regional economy.
