Fairfax County Trash Pickup Weather Announcement
Slick roadways are hampering the schedule this week.
Wondering when your trash will be picked up? Fairfax County has sent out a message Friday morning for residents who receive trash pickup service from the county:
Due to unsafe road conditions, trash and recycling collection for Fairfax County customers on Thursday and Friday collection routes has been suspended forThursday March 5 and Friday March 6, 2015. Thursday and Friday collection customers will receive trash and recycling collection on Saturday, March 7, weather and road conditions permitting.
Please make sure trash and recycling carts are accessible and not blocked in by snow or frozen in place in order to ensure collection.
