FBI Seeks Help Identifying Man Connected to Sex Abuse Case

Dubbed John Doe 29, he is not being accused of abusing girl, but investigators hope to interview him about the location of girl, FBI says.

The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying an unknown male who may have information about the identity and whereabouts of a young girl depicted in a series of photos being sexually abused. The abuse may be ongoing, the FBI noted in a news release sent out Tuesday.

The man, who the FBI has dubbed John Doe 29, is not being accused of abusing the girl, but investigators are hoping to interview him about the location of the victim—the ultimate goal is to rescue the child, the FBI said.

John Doe 29 is described as a male with a tan complexion, likely between the ages of 30 and 45, with dark hair. Additional images relevant to the investigation include those depicting the individual wearing a silver ring on his left ring finger, the victim wearing blue and white Velcro Nike brand tennis shoes, and the background where the images were taken. Additionally, the individual is seen wearing a white, black, and red shirt with what appears to be a design and/or writing on the sleeves.
