Giving Tuesday 2019: McLean Charities To Support

MCLEAN, VA — You may be thinking about what gifts to buy family and friends in between the Cyber Monday and other holiday deals going on. An alternative gift idea could be donating to a loved one's favorite charitable cause on Giving Tuesday, which falls on Dec. 3 this year.

Giving Tuesday started in 2012 to promote charitable giving during the Christmas season. Last year, approximately $400 million in donations was raised online in the U.S.
